Urbanism in Focus 2: City Lights and Signs - Past

This event was inspired by discussions with Nic Winter, a road, street, and tunnel lighting specialist at Thorn Lighting. Having been the inspiration, the title is adapted from Stephen Carr’s publication ‘City Signs and Lights: A Policy Study’ published in 1973 (The MIT Press), prepared for the Boston Redevelopment Authority and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
